Sometimes I'm not sure if Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits got more bland over time or if I was exposed to more flavorful food as I got older.
Still not going to turn down a basket. I just wonder...
PSA: #AWS #Lambda nodejs24.x can run #TypeScript without a build step.

index.ts (your handler):
export const handler = async () => ({foo: '.ts'})

index.mjs (one liner):
export {handler} from './index.ts'

NODE_OPTIONS=--experimental-detect-module

AWS disabled this ↑
Other flags break execution.

Ironic having a home media server but the best way to play media during a power outage is streaming. Even if you've only got one bar of LTE and 10% battery, the server is down and out.
Need to up my game on the home battery backup...

It's wild that the Xcel page to check on an outage's status (not even view the map) is 28 MB. And it doesn't even handle the return key when I enter my phone number.

Like you don't have power, so usually no WiFi, and you have to load and evaluate 21 MB of JS.

Total img size is 109kB btw...

Many UI libraries "support" #customElements, but has work been done to go the other way?

Use case: Have a future-proof, web-standards-based UI with a series of shiny #webcomponents; but (for reasons) I need to slam in a #React thing. No build step. Slow is fine. Wrap a blob in ? 😶‍🌫️

This isn't the beginning of the end for Mozilla (that was years ago), but it is definitely a giant stride toward the end of the line.

Gusts nearly hit 100mph today. Weird when your ears pop just sitting on the couch. Still waiting for the power to come back. Wifi on battery backup. Got a good book for when that runs out. Fingers crossed no wildfires.

Always wanted to open a cafe/bar. I'd serve black coffee, 1 beer, 1 whiskey, and 1 soup. Rotates daily. Call it Four Horseman.

This album is special. I'm so happy to listen to it, bummed we won't have more Luke, and so sad he had to endure what he did.

I dig it. I think. certainly less mental overhead than Rust, but still a mental model where everything is basically a case statement that I'm not used to.
