Oh, my 2 cents on the 'do not retaliate' remark by Scott Bessent... FY. We didn't start this, we're just responding, so it is up to the US to stop it. No bowing to bullies, because that is EXACTLY what is happening here.

Rewatching firefly, I forgot how funny and upbeat it was. Sad I'm almost through.

Rewatching firefly. The characters, storyline and credibility in episode 5 are more engaging than STDIS ever was in 5 seasons

Dear community, last time you helped us reach lots of new BlueSky followers. Now that we see that there is an exodus on X, it is important that these people can also find us on BlueSky for all necessary updates about Ukraine.

Would you like to share this message, preferably with a quote? Thanks!

@jetkvm.bsky.social what an absolutely beautiful piece of hardware. The build feels solid (it is surprisingly heavy for such a small device), and it just worked on the first try. Respect.

With weather like this; grey, almost no wind, green energy production is close to zero (yesterday enough was produced for just two cities). And that has been many days already, no batteries can bridge that. We either need nuclear power or a very risky distributed network. 🤷‍♂️

Amazing how you can go totally deep dive into Spring security, consider writing a custom authentication manager, hack around that using attributes on a request, and then end up with one measly null check in a return. 🙄 (Still marveling at the beauty of the solution - worthy of a chocolate reward.)

How is it that I don't care anymore who Trump appoints? Is there a limit to the amount of ridicule a mind can process, and then it just lays down and accepts the world for as it is? Or will be. America, what have you done?

Just found the Star Trek Unification short film, and was quite confused. How in the world did they to that?! Until I Googled 'Lawrence Selleck'. Okay! That is impressive. home.otoy.com/roddenberrya...

Bluesky is open source and adfree - for now. To prevent ads, is there an easy way to contribute to the hosting? Someone is paying for the servers, etc. Where does Bluesky's revenue come from?
