The occasional, sudden realization of how much more I think about the concept of potty training and what it actually represents vs diaper use than the average Joe. It's this higher level of analysis that anyone other than a specialist (or a weary parent for a while) might have to consider.

Sometimes, I think about how a world that was focused on diapers and caring for those who wanted/needed it would really be no less rational or functional than our own. We have so many inefficiencies baked into our world that if you posed them, they would seem like ludicrous, impractical fap fodder.

I allow myself a moment of dread when I see that after the one i just put on, I'm all out of diapers, even the ones for Kipper on the shelf below. This would not be a good start to the new year if I couldn't just restock from the basement.

It occurred to me that this is the first year in quite some time that I didn't buy anything ABDL after Thanksgiving. Part of it was being well-stocked and part was being busy but I think possibly the most important element was there wasn't any sale that really tempted me. More for others, I guess.

I finally got to see Rikki-Tikki-Tavi again! It held up better than a lot of things I saw as a kid. I had to get it on DVD. Worth it!

Seeing a toddler get a haircut yesterday reminded me how happy I am that I am not completely authentic, nor are the people I play with. Felt bad for the kid but my dog, such screeching!
