Lebanon and Gaza hold some of the world’s most important archaeological sites that stretch back to the Roman, Byzantine and Islamic periods.

Many of them are disappearing under the Israeli bombardment that has levelled vast areas into dust.

There should be a full embargo on all UK arms sales to Israel.

While Starmer and Lammy might prevaricate on genocide (the ICJ said plausible months ago), there is no doubt that war crimes and ethnic cleansing are happening - in which the UK is complicit.
