After more than a decade in the lab, I’m closing this chapter. Wet lab science is no longer a safe space for me, but my love for science hasn’t changed. I’m still a scientist, and I’m excited to see what’s next. ✌🏼

Lately, imposter syndrome has been hitting me hard. Is not a good feeling. I know a lot people go through it during their careers, however it’s becoming increasingly common, I don’t like to feel this way on a daily basis. Any advice/tips to overcome imposter syndrome?

We’re hiring THREE new TT faculty in microbiology at TXST this year. Excellent opportunity to be a part of an emergent micro/molec group, & maybe even be my lab buddy (connected independent labs)
