It feels silly to be focusing on my craft, and it feels silly not to. It has never been this way. It has always been this way. Someone has always clinked a champagne glass in one hemisphere as someone loses their home in another.

Not that I've gotten any complaints, but...
I have 3 guinea pigs, a dog, a cat, a bearded dragon and a man at home. If you got a problem with pet hair on your packaging label you probably shouldn't order from me. 🙃

Honestly, some of these stories need to turn into jail sentences. People using fires and floods to ease themselves of their burdens- or are they really that stupid???
Never leave a domesticated animal or vulnerable person on their own when a natural disaster is on its way.

The big disadvantage of having art not solely as a hobby is that you never can stop thinking about work. It's always present in thoughts, subconsciously or not. Such an exhausting way of making a living but also a very privileged one.
