Please read this phenomenal investigation by Audrey Dutton. #Idaho #idleg
Rick Taylor considers himself a part-time coroner, even if his annual pay is $95,928 and the county payroll lists him as full-time. Asked about his handling of Onyxx's case, he said he “did basically what I call a ‘paperwork autopsy.’” National standards called for an actual autopsy and other steps.
An Idaho Baby’s Unexplained Death Got No Autopsy and a Scant Coroner’s Investigation. State Law Says That’s Fine.
With a lack of regulation for coroners, a child who dies unexpectedly or outside of a doctor’s care in Idaho is less likely to be autopsied than anywhere else in the United States.

This poor couple. My god. And of course, the coroner retired the day after this article dropped. He refused an autopsy of my brother-in-law last January, too, after an unattended, suspicious death.

ICYMI during election insanity like I did, this is a very concerning read for Idahoans & their loved ones who need PCS (personal care services) parents can provide 💔

Cruelty directed at the most needly is unconscionable 😢

You would be surprised how many BYUI students are dems. Years ago, I attended a caucus for Obama's first term in Rexburg. The dems only had a handful of ballots, because that was all they needed in the past. They had to send someone out to make copies twice because of the turnout.
