We must acknowledge that undermining anyone's rights sets a dangerous precedent for stripping others of their rights. The divisive rhetoric from some members of the LGB community only serves to further the right's agenda, which has always sought to erode our collective rights.

Rights are inherent and unconditional. The trans community deserves equal treatment, just like everyone else. Although I may not fully understand the trans experience, I recognize the historical parallels with the gay community's struggles for acceptance and equality.

What lies just beyond the horizon? Whatever it is, I just wish it was a bit more blue.
