I was doing some repair work to one of my basses and thought it would be cool to take a picture of the herd. These are my short scale basses, I have two P-Basses too, that will be for sale soon.

I won’t have the details until tomorrow (like my specific destination), but I’ll be taking a load of furniture out to California next week. I checked the weather forecast and it looks pretty good.

I’m thinking strongly of quitting Facebook entirely and moving over here, just to get away from the toxic environment. In the meantime, here’s a picture of the snow in Denton, Texas, seen from my truck.

Rolling out in a minute with a load of dog food bound for delivery to a Walmart distribution center to Plainview in west Texas (between Lubbock and Amarillo). I’m aiming to spend the night in a rest area in Abernathy, not far north of Lubbock.

I’m in Baytown, Texas to pick up a load. Usually it’s huge tubs of synthetic rubber from this place. Today it looks to be pallets of 50 lb bags of something. I guess I’ll find out what it is when they give me the paperwork. Anyway, it’s going up to Behr Paint in Roanoke, Texas (north of Fort Worth).

I guess I need to actually post stuff to make this worthwhile. I’ll try harder, I promise!

So I’m home alone (in Mesquite, Texas), just had a little dinner and most of a bottle of old vine Zinfandel. I have a nice but manageable buzz going.

I have what I’d describe as a friendly relationship with alcohol. I don’t drink very often, or very much, and rarely (but occasionally) to excess.
