Sharing some gems from an activity I call Reader, Writer, Illustrator! 🖌️📖 The students take turns as the reader (reads sentences outside), the writer (writes them down), and the illustrator (brings them to life). It’s always a hit.

It’s Friday, I’m exhausted, and caffeine is my co-pilot. My poor Stanley is sitting neglected because it’s cold out, and instead of responsibly drinking water, I decided to buy a Dr Pepper, hoping it would inspire me. Spoiler alert: it hasn’t yet, but I still have a few hours 😅

Excited to start two courses this semester for my doctorate! This semester I’m exploring concepts like translanguaging, multiliteracies, and cultural sustainability while connecting theory to practice. Can’t wait to bring new ideas back to my school and students! 🌍📘
