Malaysia released both vessels and the oil the following day. The STS was completed, so the receiver now has the two million barrels. The feeder, which showed up with a fake flag, is heading back to Iran.
Here's an update on the 7 #tankers which the US Coast Guard seized over the past 6 weeks:
- 2 are laden with oil off of Texas-
- 2 are off the coast of Puerto Rico; 1 empty, 1 laden.
- 1 is in Scotland; empty.
- 2 are back in #Venezuela; 1 of which is still playing games. #OOTT

A US-sanctioned tanker carrying a million barrels of Russian crude oil was supposed to reach Venezuela but following the pursuit of BELLA 1 (9230880) halfway across the Atlantic, the tanker turned away and showed up in Syria with her AIS offline.
