“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

Q: What will Starmer offer Trump?
A: “..the kind of things where we could work more closely together, whether that’s in technology, in services…”

People thinking this is about steel tariffs - no.
This is about non-tariff barriers. It’s about data colonialism & AI. It’s about your health data & NHS.
Trevor Phillips, "When Keir Starmer goes to Washington to meet President Trump, will he ask: please leave us out of tariffs, we're your friends?"

Jonathon Reynolds, "He'll say we supply the US a series of specialised niche products, there's no need for them to pay more for those things"

We must unequivocally condemn Donald Trump’s suggestion of the forcible transfer of #Gaza’s entire population.

There is no route to peace and reconciliation without respect for international law.

The authors of a report on car dependency for the New Economics Foundation have created a Car Dependency Index.

Review: Trapped Behind the Wheel: how England’s new builds lock us into car dependency

So Streeting’s big NHS idea is “Community Diagnostic Centres”? My research showed that this Tory idea was hailed by the private health industry as an excellent privatising opportunity - & that existing centres were extensively privately delivered.

Indeed many were just rebranded mobile scan trucks.
