Comments from the audience at this race&racism session are powerful. It is distressing to be having the same conversation 20,30,40 years later… our Black colleagues are tired, angry & carrying pain. And yet we ask them to meet the needs of Black children & families carrying the same pain. #ncasc24

Last week started and ended in joy. Firstly, @DCMS announced a new National Youth Strategy co-produced with young people themselves. It promises to rejuvenate youth services and create better-coordinated support. A fantastic step to empower our youth and give them the tools they need to thrive.
