i've been writing again ;_; so a wip wednesday.
Jungkook flushes. “Ah, no. I mean, yeah she’s lovely, but—” He looks around the club a little helplessly, not sure what brought him here, why he thought this was a good idea in the first place. “He’s not looking for someone to fuck anyway, right?” Yoongi says, just as the drinks arrive. Jungkook’s eyes bug out at the violent pink cocktail that Namjoon ordered for him, a fat Margherita glass rimmed with sugar. “Definitely not,” he says quickly, running his pinkie along the rim of the glass. Maybe he can get away with nursing this one all night. He’s never been great at holding his alcohol, not that he’s had a lot of practice. Sometimes, he’ll finish a small bottle of soju or a couple beers while they game on a Friday, but he’s not exactly getting hammered in his room by himself, is he? "But it wouldn't hurt to find someone you actually like, right?" Namjoon says with a wicked grin. "And Seokjin is your brother, so if you bring home some girl that's totally not your type, he's going to just know." Yoongi nods slowly, swivelling his own Scotch on the Rocks, neat and demure, tiny cat or mobster. "He's right. You have to have some chemistry, and your face is so transparent. You gotta at least think they're hot." Jungkook feels his clingly shirt sticking to the dampness of his lower back, the Margherita slipping in his fingers. Getting here was one thing, overcoming the hurdle of just meeting Namjoon and Yoongi. Putting on pants so tight he’d never have even looked at them before tonight. It’s taken so much of his energy just to get here. The idea of walking into the swell of limbs on the dance floor, or approaching someone at the bar… it’s terrifying. “I don’t know if I can do this,” he mumbles, so low his voice is shaking. “I want to go home.”

wip wednesday :3 you know what's wild? i've never written a yoongi pov before!
"Fucking hell," Seokjin whispers, backing out the door and peering from the other side of the wooden frame. "You go." Yoongi is a pretty chill guy at the best of the times. He'd like to think he's the kind of man that his friends would describe as placid, easy-going if a little sardonic, not easily spooked—the one in the group that catches spiders with a ceramic cup and newspaper and sets them off into the streets of Seoul, free arachnids to probably meet a worse fate than the squish of a foot. He spent a whole summer in the Amazon during his gap year, so he's seen creepy crawlies that would make someone like Seokjin faint. And yet ascending further into the heart of darkness and challenging whatever monster is currently making its home on the mound of beer stained upholstery… well, it doesn't sound great. "It might be a rat," Seokjin says as Yoongi stalls, edging back towards the wall that he, in any other circumstances, wouldn't have wanted to even touch. "I could get rabies." "That's dogs," Yoongi hisses, scrabbling for the keys in his pocket. The jingle only seems to anger the pile of fleece, because it starts to vibrate. "The plague then, I don't fucking care."
