I'd suggest that students of the Tanach should have at at least one experience of examining the original source of their studies; the site provides a convenient way to do this.

The UXLC allows improvements to be made and attributed to their authors. If you're aware of a discrepancy between the UXLC and the LC please submit a text change; it's easy. Usually, you will receive a reply in 24 hours and the change published within 6 months.

The Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex (UXLC) at tanach.us is a transcription of the Leningrad Codex (LC) into a modern computer format (Unicode, XML). The text is updated semi-annually from reader suggestions to better match the LC .
