Werewolf History Project- Medieval
Bisclavret, or the Lay of the Were-Wolf was written by Marie of France in the 12th century. It’s a very unusual story for its time, where the werewolf is not a force of evil, but sympathetic and cursed. And also smooches the king.

Writing Tip:
While you might feel tempted to only focus your dialogue on important plot stuff, allowing characters to chat about other things is a wonderful way to naturally include lore-building. Not everything has to be hyper-focused on the main story.
