Today was the last day of my staycation. Besides more Castle Wars than any sane person should do, I also did a few other things.
First, I went to Rad Retro Arcade downtown. My sister and brother were practically glued to Tekken 5!
I tried a bit, but since I never played Tekken before, I lost.

Not gonna lie.. I would prefer these designs on reusable water bottle cans rather than beer cans that are meant to be disposable!!

Especially in hindsight and seen as skins for modern Mortal Kombat I think the MK '95 movie designs are quite cool especially the ninjas! 😀💜🕹️

Well.... it looks like some studios are using the DTS equivalent to Dolby Atmos, DTS:X.. such as the studio that made the Fifty Shades series of films... 😅😜

IMHO The Cat is probably the most queer coded character in Red Dwarf and overall I love him! Yes, he's vain and self centered at times but he's also hilarious and charming at other times and he has some very interesting outfits.. I especially like the fuzzy pink coat he wore in 7x05, Blue!

Here’s another arcade game I’ve never heard about before but having set it up and tried it on one of my cabs I think it’s neat.. So far I think I like this better than say… Toki which is a similar game IMHO

We get introduced to some interesting people who play at the arcade such as the girl who wears out the cabs!

Not only is this a great film about the immigration experience but partway through it has an interesting sequence where he briefly works repairs at an arcade because of his special abilities! Something that I don't like about society today is there's an endless barrage to make me feel bad and part of my job as a citizen is to decide what to internalize and what to block from my psyche for my own well being Deconstructive criticism is a dime a dozen and nothing is ever as good as it seems

If this is as bad as the MKII cab from A1UP (particularly in the control department)that's in the break room where I worked it's not so great to play but I give them points for at least getting the inline riser to go with it! 😅💜🕹️
My work added another arcade cab to the break room while I was away.
