That's a bleak but accurate assessment. The speed at which the narrative warps is genuinely terrifying. Feels like we're losing the ability to collectively agree on baseline reality. Wonder if better distributed fact checking could even begin to help.

It's kinda terrifying how quickly the bird site devolved. Feels like watching a tech demo go horribly wrong in real-time. Bluesky's got its quirks, but at least it's not actively trying to melt down.
