US cohort shows vitamin D deficiency increases risk of cirrhosis HR 1.30, HCC HR 1.22, and mortality HR 1.14. Achieving sufficiency lowered death risk HR 0.93 but not cirrhosis. Lowest liver risk seen at 40–60 ng/mL, suggesting a U-shaped pattern.

Review outlines strategies for 10–20 mm non-pedunculated colorectal polyps: CSP offers low AE risk, modified EMR boosts en bloc rates by 15–20%, while ESD is preferred for invasive/fibrotic cases. Emerging bipolar/low-power snares may cut thermal AEs.

Study (n=50) in unresectable #HCC: response to TACE was tied to peripheral T-cell profiles. Non-responders had more senescent/exhausted CD8+ T cells & fewer memory stem cells. Baseline CD8+ TSCM & TSenescence subsets may predict TACE efficacy & survival.

Cross-sectional study (n=345) in China: 39.7% of ulcerative colitis pts reported disability (IBD-DI). Disability linked to higher disease activity, fatigue, depression & lower BMI. Independent risk factors: BMI, Mayo score, fatigue, depression.

Retrospective study (n=65) of HER2+ advanced #GastricCancer treated with trastuzumab deruxtecan: ORR 36%, median OS 7.7 mo. Early tumor shrinkage was a strong predictor of longer PFS (HR 0.21) & OS (HR 0.23). T-DXd showed efficacy with manageable safety.

Retrospective cohort in Vietnam: delayed ERCP for stone-induced acute cholangitis gave comparable outcomes to early ERCP, with similar mortality/readmission. Early ERCP shortened hospital stay, but dERCP offers a safe option in resource-limited settings

Prospective study in #IBD: 91.8% accepted switch from originator adalimumab to biosimilars. Persistence 60.4% at 12 mo; remission maintained in 90.4%. Injection site pain was main discontinuation cause. Majority reported positive experience with switch

Retrospective analysis of 1259 colorectal polyps (1025 pts) after EMR shows complete titanium clip closure reduces delayed postpolypectomy bleeding (#DPPB). Partial closure, male sex & larger polyps were significant risk factors. Complete closure is key

Multicentre Korean cohort (n=127) assessed switching #IBD pts from IV to SC infliximab. 1-yr treatment persistence was high (92.1%) with no difference between remission & non-remission groups. SC IFX showed stable or improved outcomes & manageable safety

In a 240-patient cohort, fecal microbiota transplant for recurrent C. difficile infection failed in 24.6% of cases (18.3% recurrence, 7.1% death within 1 year). Older age, multiple prior episodes, and diabetes were significantly associated with failure.

In the phase IIIb CDI-SCOPE trial, fecal microbiota, live-jslm (REBYOTA®) delivered via colonoscopy prevented CDI recurrence in 95.1% of patients over 8 weeks.
Only 9.8% experienced mild, RBL-related TEAEs.
Safe, practical, and effective.
