5 years since the J6 riot. In 2024 America, 77 million voters and 271 Senators and Representatives decided this was acceptable behavior from a candidate. Trying to overthrow the government is not disqualifying. That is who we are.

Very skeptical that US (or any) oil companies are going to invest "billions" in such an unstable and unpredictable political climate. A year from now the Dems will very likely control the House and possibly the Senate. Oil companies do not invest for one or two years. 1/5

I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but yesterday (January 3, 2026) was the deadline for DOJ to submit a written justification to Congress explaining any redactions or withholdings in the release of Jeffrey Epstein files.
To be clear, we have not forgotten and will not forget about the Epstein files. We can walk and chew gum.

Trump just froze funding for all federally supported childcare centers in all 50 states. The 271 Republican senators and representatives will do nothing about it. Nothing. Pro forced birth but abandon them after that.

Is there any precedent in modern history for a mass shooting occurring in a public setting with 10+ casualties and the perpetrator not being apprehended? It's really hard to fathom.

Interesting fact. When the Beatles first came to the US in 1964, they refused to play in segregated venues. Just 61 years ago that was still a thing in the US. There are over 60 million Americans still alive today (me included) who were around at that time to witness legal segregation.
