@amnesty calls for an independent investigation into the deaths of 15 medical and rescue workers in Gaza. Israel maintains that six of the 15 were Hamas members, but that wouldn’t be an acceptable defence in court. The deliberate killing of medics and paramedics is a war crime.

To have a world champion from your country always makes you proud. To have one from your own small town was something else.
