I'm breaking my silence with eclipse photos! That prominence was so brilliant and red, I don't think any photo could do it justice.

It was very cloudy on Saturday, but I managed to get a few eclipse shots during the brief moments of transparency!

SH2-101 - The Tulip Nebula
I'm still really enjoying the rainbow color palette for nebula shots! This time I pushed the saturation as far as I dared, since I usually regret not going further.

The Crescent Nebula
I love how this nebula has formed a very distinct shell of OIII (blue nebulosity) around the Ha (red nebulosity). It's visible in my image but much more striking in other shots.

Prothonotary Warbler on Butterweed.
The most memorable sight from a day on the lake earlier this summer. I felt pretty lucky to see a wild otter that day too, which was only the second time I've seen one.

NGC 7129
I finished this shot in August of 2022, it's hard to believe it has been over a year now! That was around the time I stopped sharing my astrophotography to the other platform. So I'll likely be catching up on posting my work since then.
