Things have been so difficult for my family as of late. If you know the circumstances, you know. Long story short is dealing with loss of life. I'm trying to remain present for family... while juggling recovery and adjusting to new parenthood.

So apparently, there’s now Twitter Bots specifically to snatch up BlueSky codes. I posted these on the TL and they got snatched within milliseconds of posting.

Never forget when Elon said he’d get rid of all the bots and ended up making them worse!

I'll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, had a very traumatic delivery experience that ultimately ended in having an emergency c-section.

I am in a world of pain :')

I'll just summarize it with this screencap of a chat with a family member. Read at your own risk.
There was a lot of complications. So first off the cervadil they administered ended up giving me a 7 minute contraction which was awful and put Mikey in distress so they took it out. Then 30 minutes later put it back in again. Having that medication put in is incredibly painful. After that they started pitocin and about an hour later I decided to get an epidural. They had to attempt placing it 3 times before it was in a good place. Then the next morning his pulse kept dropping repeatedly so I kept having to change positions before I was ready to push. When I was ready to push I pushed for 4 hours before he decided to wedge his head in the side of my pelvis and I needed a c-section. I am absolutely exhausted lol. They said he never would have come out on his own because of something with my spine as well so that's fun. But he's finally here and we are thrilled
