you know props to pokemon za, I'm not very emotional with video games but between the base game and the dlc ending it's probably the most response these games have gotten from me. I appreciate these characters being handled with a lot more maturity than I expected and it's very bittersweet.

if it would suit the people one of my artwork goals in over the next few months is to make some art and posts introducing some of my characters proper. I draw them often enough but I don't think you all actually know a whole lot about them and I'd like to change that.

you know I never really noticed until I saw them side by side but holy shit did so many pokemon get a crazy glow up in gen 9. they built my boy charizard differently.

alright, that's basically almost all of base game pokemon za done. every pokemon and mega stone collected, all side quests done. took me about 72 hours, easily one of the best pokemon games honestly. I enjoy it a lot.

made one of those favorite pokemon charts, i think this is pretty accurate. i tried to avoid picking duplicates unless i really didn't like the other options as much.

reading about larian doubling down on their usage of gen AI for placeholders is so strange to me. ceo says it hasn't increased productivity substantially and the team pushed back against it so like, why bother with all this then? what are we doing here, man? its such a bizarre hill to die on.
