This peaceful card is about rest, contemplation, and solitude. Therefore I chose a relaxed and meditating secluded bat. Thinking about the next steps, taking a break from the overwhelming outside world. In the background, we can see a church window representing the external surroundings. The eye-shaped glass decoration of the sacred window emphasizes the bat's deep focus on meditation, healing, and self-reflection. A single Katana sword hanging from the ceiling with the help of steel strappings is more prominent. It emphasizes the focus on the bat which placed its webbed feet on it. Collecting strength to meet the outside world again. Oracular Oriole - an oracle bird reading prophecies from matcha tea (milk foam in the shape of an open eye) with the inscriptions on the cup " Know thyself "- a Greek maxim referencing the oracle of Delphi. Oracular Oriole has great taste and proudly wears its sacred matcha brush as a hat. A cozy atmosphere adds to the magic, candles, and bowls filled with matcha/autumn leaves, spices like cinnamon, anise stars, vanilla pods, pumpkin/matcha powder, its favorite orange/lemon/citrus zest, and blueberries can be seen, too. In the front, two orioles are visiting this magical place, none of them look like the other. They are much smaller than the mystical Oriole in the center of attention and are here to receive their reading. The sand on the floor forms lots of circles, a bit like a Zen garden. Some sand routes seem to have moved a teapot to the scenery. These circular patterns also appear in the background, but are colorful seagrass decorations. Electric pulses and colorful light show how far the supernatural work is at its current state. What will the future hold for the Orioles? Space! We are witnessing an alien on the right side surrounded by purple-pink fog. It is tending its attention to the rather cold universe. This creature is a creator, guardian, and protector of the planets holding and spending time with each new world. There is no rush. Good things take time to evolve. We can see several tiny planets floating in a sacred and ancient ocean. Every globe has a good start for building a new world for unknown civilizations. The planets will leave this protected space once they reach their unique temperature and atmosphere. We are on an unknown cold and snowy planet. In the middle of our attention, we see planet Earth heating up. Earth is hugged by a friendly-looking snow creature, personifying coldness, and fitting well into these weather conditions and scenery. It is at one with nature. It shows a hard-working but slow-moving turtle that works all day. It has a whole medieval town on its shell. Wearing a helmet and armor on its feet. You can rely on this strong-willed, trustworthy, and ambitious knight. Though, not familiar with leisure time or fun. Very disciplined. Keeping routines to be a true perfectionist. Advent Calendar - Door 21. 🌿
This is another speedpainting from my bunny series in purple, green, pink and white colors) :). At night we can see a crowd of bunnies cheering at the recurring flower pot racing festival. We can see at least six flower pots (one in the distance, so who knows how many contestants take part in this wild event) with various plants planted in their pots and joined by their jockeys. The pots have long root legs. Perfect for getting the contestants to the finish line. The winner of the marathon is already celebrating, while the other bunnies are still trying to get the best result. One of them looks rather tired. When I think about the artists who've done concepts for my projects ( @dgbaumgart.bsky.social and @sylviaritter.bsky.social, both fantastic), one of the most important parts of the process was the back and forth - they would bring cool ideas, I'd make suggestions, they'd iterate

In 2017, I chose for the Emperor tarot card the Emperor tamarin in the middle of the desert, sitting cross-legged on its wooden throne decorated with ram heads on each side. The Emperor is holding the world in the left hand (symbol of authority) and in the right hand a scepter (symbol of control). In front of the throne, we can see the gifts he received. Flowers (white lillies) in fine ceramic ware, incense sticks in a metal bowl, a scented lamp, decorative colorful flowers (orange, pink, white, red, purple). We are somewhere in space, and we can see the stars through the clouds. In the center of our attention is a bowl with intricate patterns and broad noodles in blue, purple, pink, orange, and yellow colors. Chopsticks were placed on top of the bowl, and a tiny person wearing a hooded cloak is meditating on these sticks, channeling the power of the noodles, partly floating in the air. Beard Planet. A snowy sci-fi fantasy landscape (grey, blue, white colors with warmer lights in yellow and pink). Mountain ranges far into the distance. These mountains are unusual, wise old grey men with long snowy beards flowing into the valley. The lead us into the distance to even taller grey man mountains in groups, rock the landscape, or stand alone, and are smoking their pipes. Yes, you assumed correctly. They create all the clouds and fog on this planet. Maybe even the new glowing planet and the snow originated from these magic pipes. How? Well, we can explore this landscape a bit further to find the mystery. In the foreground is a tiny village. A lush green scenery with purple and blue fields and streams. The inhabitants of this alien planet worship giant rocks (at least 4.5 times larger than their highest building). They feel safe in the light and in the shadows of these rocks. Crops and fields on these large stones nourish the green cities. They have special tools and learned when they have to leave their favorite sacred rocks for a new place. Sometimes they even live around stacked stone structures. Fairy Tales tell how the rocks were brought here. In the distance, we can see more cities and two moons or planets. It seems to be early morning, and the morning fog draws a misty panorama. A rabbit, a deer, and a fox are running away from a creature (in this particular moment, probably a bear shape), made only of leaves and branches.
