Silent Sunday 💜
This peaceful card is about rest, contemplation, and solitude. Therefore I chose a relaxed and meditating secluded bat. Thinking about the next steps, taking a break from the overwhelming outside world. In the background, we can see a church window representing the external surroundings. The eye-shaped glass decoration of the sacred window emphasizes the bat's deep focus on meditation, healing, and self-reflection. A single Katana sword hanging from the ceiling with the help of steel strappings is more prominent. It emphasizes the focus on the bat which placed its webbed feet on it. Collecting strength to meet the outside world again. A fireplace with a cozy armchair with pictures of ghostly landscapes on the wall. Candles and colorful lamps create a mysterious atmosphere. A treasure map and amulets show big plans. A desk with candles, quill, ink and a notebook show that someone is working hard on new enigmatic inventions. This is where magic, technology and chemistry are combined into a machine. Cables and parts are leading in various directions. Next to the previous mentioned piano, poisons and machine room, we can see the main library with thousands of books protected by a wise owl "Boo hoo boo hoo!" and intricate skull decor. Another part of the artwork shows the mirror room. Even the mirrors seem alive and love to spook around. Watch out! :) Taxidermied animals with glowing eyes can be found on the right side (lion, eagle, bear, rhino, hippo, warthog, bull, tiger). In a glass vitrine, precious animal skulls and bones are preserved. In the upper right corner is a haunted dusty attic with spider webs, rusty tools and weapons ,a loom, old cloth, a still functioning gramophone, a forgotten coffin. Windows show the outside area with dead looking trees and a rather dark atmosphere. ..and then there is the ghostly maintenance staff room. Full of cleaning products, brooms, shovels, a warning sign for clean wet floors illuminated by a colder halogen light.

A workstation setup for a Programmer/Computer Scientist/Web Developer/Musician (headphones, monitors, large desk, speakers, office chair), transforming from technology (colorful light by server racks and intricate circuit patterns on the floor) to nature (surrounded by climbing plants). Whoever works here builds a new and better world from the desk at home to the far distance, where a city, as a symbol, appears, and nature unites with technology in the best possible way. At the center of our attention sits the Computer Scientist's cat on the programmer's chair, holding the ford until the creator returns. Oh, the responsibility! The mighty cat will keep two eyes on their work.

I am a bit sad today, because I won't be able to finish the next animal illustration, inspired by the Ubuntu release, in time for the official release date tomorrow.
