Public transit is getting cut in my city while the richest citizens are getting tax decreases. It's going to take more than 2-4x the amount of time for thousands to get groceries because a handful of dipshits don't want to pay their fair share and would rather hoard another couple million a year.

I don't think society can get better until "AI" is relegated to use cases where it's actually useful (a niche tool in R&D) and generative AI is laughed out of society as a whole.
