Hey at least Gang of Dragon looks cool as shit, and if you already have copies of Yakuza 3 SEGA can't take them away.

And you test what it would do to a human by putting something else in that situation. We put animals in orbit before we put humans in orbit.

Any way you slice it living somewhere else in the solar system is not really feasible. We have this little blue rock where all of us were born and all of us will die, we should focus on taking care of that.

Science fiction is neat, but it's fiction.

The amount of resources it would take to terraform venus are more than we have access to in our solar system. Not to mention we don't really know /how/. How are we going to shift that atmosphere to something humans can interact with?

Venus also has a weak magnetic field.

This isn't something we can solve by bringing stuff with us or changing the environment on the moon.

The mass of the moon is beyond our control, and we need to be sure that isn't going to be a death sentence to everyone who tries to stay there.

The only humans ever on the moon stayed briefly.

Anything below 1g long term has not been sufficiently studied for long term habitation.

We do not know the stresses that will have on your heart and bones. If you can even return to 1g.

These are things we should know long before the first human even considers an extended stay off world.

We still don't know if people can survive long term in microgravity at all. The longest astronauts have been in orbit has already shown massive health issues, and they are highly trained and constantly exercising to deal with those.

What about cosmic radiation? Just the fucking solar radiation?

Cruel policy designed to kill people results in conditions that kill people.

I really do not know what to do with my anger anymore.
This is an important read. I don't want to take anything away from it. However:

It really should have been a news item informed by the Good Law Project's data. It isn't bc the British press has shut out any story that contradicts anti-trans talking points.

New data shows surge in trans kids’ suicides following healthcare rollbacks | Good Law Project
A freedom of information request by Good Law Project has found that deaths by suicide of trans young people under 18 surged following the withdrawal of gender-affirming healthcare

Anecdotally I sort of fall into both being bullied and disliking interacting with children.

So you lose one booster to regular ass inflation, and the other is to what - price gouging and tariffs?

Oh I also didn't mean the only one.

Being informed and able to understand the decision is also an important one and why a lot of forms of sexual violence like those against children and animals are automatically ruled out.

I don't know how to really put it into words, but shouldn't the litmus test on consent be based on how freely it can be given and taken away without the potential for severe consequences?

Am I consenting to sex if my answer of no is responded to with violence?

In this instance, does her rejection of his advances come with the risk of her losing access to her income and a place to live?

That seems like a pretty strong line where coercion is implicit even if there was no intent to retaliate on his end.

Ideally we would fix a lot of the consolidation by taking copyright back to 20 years and reworking patents and trademarks to deal with trolls.

A lot of the consolidation has to do with IP rights and if those expire at 20 years it'll happen a lot less.

Knowingly enacting policy to kill people to make money is one of the most heinously evil things you as a person can do. In the desire for profit this man sent tens of thousands to their early graves.
January 30, 2026 at 4:32 PM
Charlie Kirk was not a bigger piece of shit than the man who was responsible for tens of thousands of deaths through willful policy he knew would kill people.

If federal doesn't you bet your ass they will. They will bend over backwards to throw the book at him - and they might not get a judge who is as willing to throw out bad evidence.

They also might get a prosecutor who doesn't suck at their job.

And before someone comes in with some bad faith criticism.

Sage isn't saying work that does not involve consent between adults. That is implicit.

Human trafficking, animal abuse, and child abuse are not inherent to sex work.

Yeah that's a pretty big grind though. Like tens of hours of mindless killing since they got rid of the shortcuts.

Unsure, I haven't actually logged in today to start it. I've actually been on a WoW break for a couple months.

Prepatch event is worth doing because the stuff in it generally becomes FOMO afterwards. It's rare they bring prepatch rewards back, and they're generally fast to get.

You could start interacting with player housing, going back and getting decor and achievements. Same with transmog.
