The Drought Learning Network is a peer-to-peer knowledge exchange between climate service providers and resource managers. The main goal of the DLN is to gather and share lessons learned from drought events to improve responses to future droughts.

#Drought conditions improved in AZ while worsening in HI this past week. The 6-10 day forecast from the NWSCPC shows above normal temps and low precip for the majority of the SW region. 🌎

April Drought Outlook from the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center (NWSCPC) - The southwest should see relief in AZ, but it looks as though #Drought will persist in NM and HI.

This week we saw a lot of areas with #Drought improvement in NM and AZ. These same areas are leaning toward cooler and wetter conditions in the National Weather Service Climate Predictin Center's 6-10 day forecast.

#Drought degradation in HI and small areas of improvement in the continental SW region this past week. NM remains deeply in drought, but the 6-10 day forecast shows precip might be on the way.

The Arizona Climate Summary for January 2024 is now available. It "includes a narrative of the weather events across the state, graphs and maps including temperature and precipitation, as well as more specific data for Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson.
