Haven't sat down and watched a whole wrestling PPV in forever, so I have no recent comparisons, but Forbidden Door was pretty good. I got what I wanted out of the IWGP title match. Could've done without the fork in Darby's ear though.

Fuck... Just found out that Brent Hinds died. Mastodon has been one of my favorite bands for years and his brilliant guitar work is a big reason why.

I can't help but feel like the new Daemon x Machina would have a substantially better first impression if that opening bit before you crash land on the planet was just a cutscene. It interrupts gameplay enough that you can't enjoy the "taste of power" moment anyways.

Had a night to sleep on it and TripleMania convinced me that Corey Graves is the worst mainstream wrestling commentator since Mark Madden. He sucks at calling the action, he sucks at explaining the stories and he consistently cut Konnan off every time he tried to pick up Corey's slack.

Been watching a ton of MST3K while I record footage lately and finally remembered the most Minnesotan parody of Ingmar Bergman ever.
Started playing the Star Ocean 2 remake and somebody really needs to explain to whoever ported it to PC that borderless fullscreen means that I shouldn't have to Alt+Tab to use my other monitor.

Squaresoft games on the SNES had such amazing bass lines. I don’t understand why they stopped! And the worst part is modern remakes that deemphasize the baseline like nearly every version of Battle on the Big Bridge.
