Nowadays the "Triple E" class, which began delivery in 2015, has a capacity of 19,630 TEU and a length of nearly 400 meters..... The loading capacity has gone 10x ❤️

"Rita Maersk" was a general cargo vessel built in anno 1955 by Nakskov Skibsværft in Denmark.
The ship was originally built with a deadweight tonnage of 9,700 DWT and later upgraded in anno 1965 by being cut in half and fitted with an extra cargo hold, increasing its capacity to 12,770 DWT ❤️
