Incredible, was actually able to book 4 nights for Fanime. I think this is the first year they've allowed booking outside of Fri, Sat, Sun without having to contact CMR.

Ultimately it's all so someone somewhere can get a tax slice. Their profile was pretty clean and needed minimal data quality support, so I didn't go deep into it. Some celebrity companies though..... I deserve some of the blame for them becoming barely legitimate although totally scammy.

There are a lot of "policy on a whim" things with them, sometimes depending on device. They were a totally different company prior to applying for BBB accreditation. Thing is none of those changes were requested by that office (which I worked for at the time), and their bus. profile wasn't complex.

Should service the hopper either way (and the entire machine, but that's me), however the error can be cleared and the machine playing again after about 60 seconds of flipping a couple of switches and I can tell you how to do it.

If you're in SF and the property interests you, this is a decent buy. I'd recommend you get him down to $200 / $175, but an E6 error can usually be remedied by clearing out the hopper and cycling it, then performing a reset.

I finally found one of these in good condition for a fair price. Mark V sets were only made for a couple years and had limited distribution at Disneyland. (Most park stores just sold the Disney World Mark VI sets, even in Anaheim)

Galactic Patrol Lensman, dude. The series, not the movie. Figured the movie itself was just an obscure one-off that happened to get broadcast on Sci-Fi Channel at the start of their anime experiment. Wasn't until I found a bunch of model kits at a Half Price Books that I did a deep dive.

I think I've purchased (and given away) more copies of this album than any other single individual. I give it away as part of the prize package at my "Vintage Anime Name That Year!" panel at FanimeCon, every year since 2018. An odd mix? Sure, but its pure mainstream anime boom nostalgia these days.

I swear, every railcar seat is 100x more comfortable than the Caltrain EMUs. Gold Runner (Gold Digger) may have all sorts of operational problems but the seats are nice at least.

I will have to say, taken as a whole, the Macross II soundtrack is the best Macross soundtrack. I know I've gained a reputation as a Macross II apologist - but it's really good - J-Rock, idol pop, funk, classical, smooth jazz. And of course Wendy Ryder is still the best Macross idol.

I will have to say, taken as a whole, the Macross II soundtrack is the best Macross soundtrack. I know I've gained a reputation as a Macross II apologist - but it's really good - J-Rock, idol pop, funk, classical, smooth jazz. And of course Wendy Ryder is still the best Macross idol.
