Meet the new NH House Speaker same as the old NH House Speaker. Rep. Sherman Packard retakes the gavel with a 44 vote GOP majority—up from 43 because of the resignation of Rep.-Elect Dawn Evans, D-Somersworth. The official count is GOP-221, Dems-177, Independents-1 and 1 vacancy.
