Prior to the video of this Merlin it was impressive to watch it chase a small bird as it kept swooping under it to keep it up in the air. Outstrays NR from the Welwick Hide #ukbirding

Another fantastic day at Outstrays yesterday. Started with whirling wader spectacles at high tide and ending with 2 male Hen Harriers, Merlin and Short-eared Owl - with Glossy Ibis, Whoopers, Fieldfares, Redwings and Barn Owl in between

A few videos from today's visit to Blacktoft Sands this afternoon using my new Ollin digiscope adapter (birthday present) - hopefully I'll have a better chance of getting some more videos before the bird flies away as it's so much quicker!
