Fucking obviously. This feature is so abusable and I hate that everyone is jumping on it willy nilly.
You need to block liberally but you need to block people you KNOW are assholes, you can't rely on the equivalent of someone you don't know's shitlist scribbled on a piece of paper.

Please vet your blocklist creators before you implement a mute-list or blocklist. MAGA, foreign troll farms and other bad actors are working day and night to silence our voices.
