There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule

Happy birthday, Marines!

To the rest of you - remember, honoring our military and veterans means making sure they get healthcare, food, and shelter. Today, it means calling your Congressmembers and demanding they extend the ACA so 267,000 Veterans don't lose their healthcare.

Trump adds new reasons to deny visas to immigrants: obesity and other health issues
The White House has directed visa officers to consider common health ailments, including obesity and diabetes, when deciding if immigrants can enter the U.S. The legality is questionable, experts say.

Children across the country are being traumatized by this administration.

Listen to this mother talk about how ICE raided her child's preschool. It's insane that this #ICELawlessness can happen in the United States of America!

Is this still the land of liberty?

When your flights are cancelled this month, remember, Republicans could end the shutdown by making healthcare more affordable. They could decrease the demand on air traffic by making the ultra wealthy fly commercial. But the Republican House isn’t even in session.

#GOPHealthcareShutdown
Private planes make up nearly 12% of all flights.

And yet even with major air traffic control safety concerns, the DOT is planning to exclude them from its plan to order 10% cut in flights at 40 major U.S. airports.

People who can afford to charter flights will be fine. Everyone else is screwed.

The Trump regime has fired an estimated 70 immigration judges since February. Nearly half previously defended immigrants in court.

Remember: it was never about legal immigration. It was always about cruelty.
