Trump’s presidency is literally a death sentence for many in low-income countries as life-saving HIV treatment is cut. We can sit back and watch in horror, or we can act.

For many, Trump's presidency is a death sentence. Here’s how lives can be saved
Donald Trump’s cuts to US overseas aid could, among many other effects, leave the world facing an HIV pandemic that kills millions of people. But we can all step up to help fill the gap

Starmer’s shame: Women and children will die because of his cuts to international aid. He has betrayed the legacy of towering Labour figures like Barbara Castle

Why women and children will die because of 'hard man' Keir Starmer's aid budget cut
By taking life-saving funds from the world’s most vulnerable women and children, Keir Starmer has abandoned Labour’s principles and the party’s recent manifesto pledge

Is Scotland safe for children? Next week Scottish Parliament will decide on call for whistleblowing office so concerns about child abuse can be dealt with quickly & in confidence. No more empty promises, time for action say campaigners ✍️in @TheScotsman www.scotsman.com/news/opinion...
Horrific Glasgow paedophile ring shows how Scotland fails vulnerable children
Scotland needs whistleblowing office so that concerns about possible child abuse, sexual and physical, can be reported and investigated more quickly

Are there any tax policy experts out there? Or politicians with an interest in tax and charity giving?
What is the rationale for giving higher rate tax payers tax relief on their charity giving but not to those who pay basic rate. Asking as a confused basic rate tax payer 😂

As research reveals a 50-fold increase in kids with gender distress, Trump’s views on sex and gender expose how the left here failed them and women. Me in The Scotsman www.scotsman.com/news/opinion...
The left must realise that Donald Trump's gender views strike a chord with voters
It’s time for UK politicians to stop blaming people who are fed up of being told they are on the wrong side of a culture war

In a few weeks time the Afghanistan MEN’S cricket team will play in ICC’s world championships, while Afghan women and girls are denied their most basic human rights. There must be a sporting boycott to help end this sex apartheid. Me ✍️ in The Scotsman www.scotsman.com/news/opinion...
Taliban’s shocking treatment of women shows why world must impose apartheid-style sporting boycott
Given the Taliban has banned women from taking part in sport and even speaking in public, Afghanistan’s cricket team should not be welcome at the International Cricket Council’s Men’s Champions Trophy

Sturgeon’s friend Swinney has been left to clean up the mess created by her obsession with identify politics….The lanyards are fraying now…But women are still dying prematurely because of their sex. That is Nicola Sturgeon’s enduring legacy. Me in @TheScotsman
