These are the three Roman Catholic bishops of San Diego. I was glad to join them and other faith leaders at immigration court today to offer compassion and presence.

Thankful for family, friends, love, and security this Thanksgiving Day. And from the southern border of the US, I’m praying for migrants who are searching for those same blessings, that they may find them. ⚓️

Really concerned about the fear and heartbreak coming to our immigrant communities. This article brings some on-the-ground insights to how mass deportations might work, and what might slow them down.

It’s going to be a challenging 2025 in Arizona for our congregations. I appreciate the clarity of this article in identifying the fear of deportation as being a massive part of the strategy that seeks to break up families and destabilize communities.
