Anyone reading the news about the new M.pox strain which has today been identified in Sweden? Are there any folks on here with a bacterialogist(is that spelled correctly ) who can clarify. Just asking as someone with anxiety so that it doesn't spiral out of control 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hmmm more leavers from Threads arriving on here I notice. Recognise some of the posts and profiles. Political posts ramping up it seems. I left Threads and Twitter because it definitely felt uncomfortable. I really hope with the huge influx to Bluesky the essence of this platform doesn't change

From a concerned citizen here in the UK, please please vote for Kamala Harris in November. We are absolutely terrified of a Trump majority and a country ruled by a man who has no respect for anyone except himself..
If Florida goes Blue in November it's not because Dems stole it away, it's because the Repubs gave it away. Climate denial, failure to protect a woman's freedom to control her family planning and future, the destruction of public education, and anti-worker stance leave voters no choice but to switch

Who else here is a fan of The Boss/ Bruce Springsteen? A few from his Wembley Stadium gig 27th July. Waited 14 years to get tickets to see him and EStreet Band in the UK. Not bad seats either 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Just left Threads as it was becoming a place where conspiracy theorists were beginning to make their presence felt. Bluesky seems a saner place. New on here as of yesterday. From Surrey in the UK. Hopefully will be more normal interactions and interesting posts
