Federal cuts to Medicaid and food assistance are hitting San Diego families hard, and the fallout is immediate. We cannot wait for Washington to fix what it broke. We moved fast with a partnership that frees 13M dollars to keep food access, behavioral health, and senior support from collapsing.

The proposed ordinance will be written based on one the San Diego City Council unanimously approved Monday and then brought back for supervisors to consider next month.
