This is such an important read. As a Hispanic voice actress myself, I can not express how happy it makes me to hear someone who's like me.
We, as creators, need to be very intentional and explicit with how a character is represented. Please, do not be vague about your inclusivity and diversity.

This isn't about whether the community is "welcoming", because it Is, it's about the fact that people do not consume or cast their content with the sort of intentionality required to foster actual diversity within the space. in AP, people have become very intentional about diversifying their tables.
You know, for all Audio Drama seems to be a diverse, inclusive space that anyone can enter if they have an idea, a google doc and a mic - this space has quite the gatekeeping problem.
