Hey @mindnoodler.bsky.social has Penn found out that double reed players (oboe, English horn, bassoon, etc.) are expected to learn to cut their own reeds as part of learning the instrument? I am very team bassoon for Penn, moreso than team pedal steel. Besides, Penn already reads bass clef.

In Target last night, picking up a couple of things. Wore a *blue* polo shirt and khakis and got flagged down twice by customers that thought I was an employee. Still tried to help, got them to the right store section.

I know that it's wintertime because I had to be at the grocery store when it opened to get more butter. #cookieseason

Normally this would be unnerving for me, but given how other things feel right now, this was a simple job that just required magnification and the right tool.
