I've spent a lot of time this year trying to work on myself and having time away from online socialising. It's very easy to get sucked into stuff that doesn't matter while online and it used to ruin my self worth. But now if no one really talks to me or if I flop as an emote artist it'd be okay

KCD2 not winning anything is actually criminal, I'm obviously not surprised in the slightest bc E33 deserved those awards. But it made me sad how KCD2 was barely mentioned the whole show, it deserved some of the spotlight

I'm actually looking forward to my birthday next Thursday! Not only am I hitting 30, my big sister is taking me on an adventure to Birmingham to do some shopping, much excite! I had some annoying expenses this month but hopefully I have enough moneyz to still have a good time

I think some people forget that animating is a completely different skill set to drawing, it takes a lot of time to learn plus there's so many different ways to do it. You have to prep an emote differently if it's going to be animated which takes more work and planning.

I got the chance to refresh some of the old emotes I made for @kiaratv.bsky.social, and I have a few more to do. I don't have access to the date/year I made the old ones but its still fun to compare, I hope people like the new ones ✨

I've been tempted lately to apply for volunteering at my local farm since they have mental health support n things, it might be good for my anxiety. It's 2 days a week and it'll give me something to get outside for, I need to work on my insomnia tho. Apparently they have alpacas 🥺

Today was almost a huge disaster, I went out with my sister today but I forgot my door key. We had to rush all the way to the airport to get a key off my mum before her flight took off, otherwise I would've been locked out for over a week. Greyson wouldn't have been very happy 🙃 I'm so drained

Before my month imploded I did actually get to drawing the secret version of the Astarion plush pendant (Batstarion), finally getting around to posting. I don't plan on finishing the drawings but at least I got them out of my brain. In that time I also got the Yooki I bought ✌️
