Moving to Edinburgh in about 6 weeks, it’s quite a way from home so a little nervous but really excited mostly! Should be an amazing place to be over autumn and Christmas especially😁

DS download play was such an incredible feature, awesome that it still works as well - played a good bit of Mario kart DS and Tetris Ds earlier

Donkey Kong is everything I hoped it would be so far! Definitely feels like a kind of second launch title for switch having a “big” single player game to play

Idk why - maybe it’s the switch 2 launch - but I’ve been feeling extra nostalgic for old Nintendo consoles recently. Been playing GBA games on the miyoo mini, dug out my old Wii and 2DS and modded them both, also bought a DSi because I sold mine and always regretted it..

Idk why - maybe it’s the switch 2 launch - but I’ve been feeling extra nostalgic for old Nintendo consoles recently. Been playing GBA games on the miyoo mini, dug out my old Wii and 2DS and modded them both, also bought a DSi because I sold mine and always regretted it..
Been playing tonnes of my Myioo mini plus recently, it’s a really great device and having an especially great time playing Minish Cap!

Kinda bounced off death stranding last time I played, just wasn’t in the right mindset for it, but seeing all the posts about DS2 encouraged me to replay it and I’m having an amazing time with it. Goes to show it’s often worth giving a game a second shot

SWITCH 2 FULL EARLY THOUGHTS:
+ Feels much more premium and comfortable in hand.
+ Performance overall is giving me exactly what I wanted, Mario Kart and Cyberpunk really showing it.
+ Big boosts in (most) Switch 1 games!
+ lovely bigger screen makes tabletop more viable.
+ eshop works😅

I’ll post something longer with all my early thoughts but tbh I’m pretty over the moon with the switch 2 so far. Few complaints but they feel pretty minor when the whole package is meeting so much of what I wanted from it.

I’ll post something longer with all my early thoughts but tbh I’m pretty over the moon with the switch 2 so far. Few complaints but they feel pretty minor when the whole package is meeting so much of what I wanted from it.
Coming home after 8 months on Wednesday, meaning I’ll finally be back with my PS5😅 these are the games I’ve got waiting for me when I get back, anything else I missed that’s worth picking up??

Hey I had pretty low expectations but actually thought that direct was really good! Metroid prime, witchbrook and the marvel game were probably my highlights.

Had an amazing experience a few days ago snorkelling the great barrier reef! Pictures probably don't do it justice but it was genuinely stunning and a once in a life time experience. Saw beautiful fish, coral and a couple turtles🐢🪸

Idk how, I must've misread something and never checked, but I was convinced AC shadows had been delayed till 2026. Just now seeing it's actually out in like 3 weeks, not 100% sure from what I've seen so far but really hoping it turns out well because it's a dream game for so many on paper🤞
