I think this could be viewed as something more than conventional totalitarian censorship. It seems rather to constitute a denial of the very existence of the relationship between cause and effect, or action and consequence.
Transport is the biggest source of US emissions. The US transportation secretary has ordered the removal of the words "climate change" and "greenhouse gas emissions" from all departmental material.
Trump's Transportation Secretary calls for the purge of “all orders, directives, rules, regulations, notices, guidance documents, funding agreements, programs and policy statements” that relate “in any way to climate change, and ‘greenhouse gas’ emissions."
