if avatar 3 makes $2 billion then 2025 will be the first year ever where two movies released in the same year grossed $2 billion
December 31, 2025 at 10:03 PM
I hope with Nezha 2 being on hbo it gets the attention it so rightfully deserves. Though I wish the A24 theater release got more people to see it in the theater. Besides me there were like 6 others in the imax theater
December 31, 2025 at 9:51 PM
Ne zha 2 made $2.1 billion at the box office. People dislike it bc most of that money came from just china. If we shouldnt count a movie’s success in a single market why do we see the US domestic box office as so important??
December 31, 2025 at 9:49 PM
I was so upset that Nezha 2 wasn't shortlisted for best animated feature. But tbh I like to think they just didn't bother campaigning and honestly that's fair
December 31, 2025 at 9:45 PM
nezha 2 is one of the best animated movies to come out this year. wish asian animation was more accepted in the west because I always see hate on the movie specifically bc its chinese. If people just gave it a chance…

I got to see it in imax 3d and it was legit incredible.

For an oscar winning actress who played in 4 films that grossed $2 billion zoe saldana is so underappreciated and deserves more lead roles in big films. She's one of the few in the cast that hard carries the entire avatar franchise like damn she literally isn't human in these movies
December 26, 2025 at 1:49 AM
zoe saldana and stephen lang hard carry the Avatar movies.

I'm gonna pretend zoe won the oscar for these movies instead

Avatar 3 has some scenes that parallel the first two movies and the last act takes place kinda in the same place as the end of TWOW but everything else, even the human conflict, is so different and SO much better in F&A. The visual storytelling (like in the river scene) is just so so good.

Watched Liz and the Blue Bird yesterday. One of the most deeply emotional and beautiful movies I’ve seen. Storytelling and sound design are impeccable. Rewatched that final performance scene and I couldn't stop tearing up. Wow.

20/12/25 - Watched Avatar 3 in Dolby 3D. Projector was off until the movie started so I didn't see the trailers :( was excited for The Odyssey. Movie was amazing, so different from the last two I heavily disagree with people who say it's the same. Acting, visuals, emotions, music, so good.
