It’s that time of year again. Apple Corps have raided the vaults for their (now) annual trawl through the archives to unearth treasures from The Beatles’ back catalogue. The Beatles Anthology has been updated, remastered and extended to a fourth disc, and it was released today.

We really enjoyed our first record fair yesterday at Lark Lane. It was good to meet fellow sellers, enthusiasts, punters, and friends that came out to give us support. We look forward to coming back for the next one in February. #sunflowerrecords #vinyl #larklane #larklanerecordfair

The last day of the countdown to tomorrow’s record fair. The final album on the list and the soundtrack for the day is this 2025 release from The Last Dinner Party, From the Pyre. If you like your pop anthemic. This is the album for you.

Only two days to go with our countdown, today’s choice fits our theme perfectly. I could have chosen any one of the three eponymous Macca albums. McCartney II is a fantastic album. McCartney in the 80s was a mixed bag, but this and Flowers in the Dirt are amongst his finest works.

We have three days to go until our first record fair at Lark Lane. The daisy age and sunflowers make a perfect combination for our countdown on this autumnal morning. De La Soul’s 1989 classic 3 Feet High and Rising is the choice today. Three certainly is the magic number.

This time next week, we’ll be setting up for our first record fair. Another flavour of what we’ll have for sale that day is this classic soundtrack from The Magnificent Seven. I’m sure the film can be seen on some channel around the world today. A perfect Sunday afternoon movie.

Day 8 of the countdown, and it's a great Liverpool band, and one that fits in with our theme. This is a ‘well-loved’ copy that I picked up from a charity shop some years back. I wish all finds would unearth a great collection of songs like this one. I've another of their records for sale.
