Streetartwall. The enigmatic mural of a young woman, surrounded by palm leaves, was sprayed/painted on the outside wall of a one-story house. The wall is painted with large green leaves and grass, but in the center of the painting is a young dark-haired woman. She stands facing to one side, wearing a wide striped shirt and short black shorts. However, her face is hidden by the large leaves. She disappears into the jungle, as it were. (The photo shows a slightly cloudy sky above the house and a view of the surrounding houses and the street. Not a single tree can be seen for miles around).
Info: Carlos Edgar Salinas Salinas Bache (1992) is a Mexican artist whose paintings and murals often depict figures that elude the viewer or hide their faces. The mural in France is his first work in Europe.
