My latest Op-Ed in @commondreams.org

House Republicans keep promising a crusade against Big Tech’s power. If they were serious, they would likely find support from their Democratic colleagues

Jim Jordan has been traveling the world on our dime to lobby for Big Tech in the name of protecting “free speech.” This shift from antitrust to anti-woke is a gift to Big Tech.
Big Tech’s Most Effective Lobbyist, Jim Jordan, Is Temporarily Constrained
The House Judiciary Committee under Jordan has not merely diverged from bipartisan concerns over corporate power, it has helped neutralize any meaningful legislative solutions by redefining the very nature of the threat.

This isn’t about health care for undocumented immigrants – that’s already against the law.

It’s about the fact that Republicans are intentionally skyrocketing your premiums.

My take on the Google search remedies decision in

➡️Remedies Not Enough as Google will still be default ➡️None of the other remedies compensate for this
➡️ Just relying on AI is bananas

My statement
"Apple has consistently prioritized profits over the developer ecosystem that creates the majority of value for iPhone users. Instead of appealing the ruling, Apple should comply and focus on innovating - where is the intelligent Siri we were all promised in its ads?" ⬇️
“Judge Rogers has rightly called out Apple’s dissembling, concealment of information, and malicious compliance - behavior that the company has exhibited not just in the United States, but worldwide."
