I know I'm not alone in being stunned at the enormity of what has happened in this 1st month of 2026. We will continue to stand vigil for those we have lost and gain strength from those we gather with in community sorrow.

🚨ENDORSEMENT🚨
It means a lot to earn the support of State Rep. Bridget Walsh Moore (HD-93). 💙 Bridget is someone I genuinely respect. She's steady, principled, and puts service above the noise. I’m proud to have her backing as we build people-powered campaign in Mehlville and Oakville. 🗳️

Proud of the Missourians who stood up yesterday at the Capitol for democracy and working families. 💙
Whether it’s paid sick leave or reproductive freedom, voters made their voices clear.
Their jobs as lawmakers is to listen and represent, not override the public when they don’t like the results. 🗳️

Looking forward to being part of the MLK Day of Service this Monday. 💙
Hope to see some neighbors there as we honor Dr. King’s legacy through service and community.

The care and feeding of a democracy is a skill. 💙🇺🇸
And in this moment, we’re all being called to practice it.
If we don’t like what’s happening, it’s up to us to change it.
✨ Let’s build something better — together.

Great seeing Fred Wellman last night at his town hall.
I’m always glad to see public forums where voters can ask questions and candidates engage directly. 💙

MO Dems showed up strong this week on This Week in Missouri Politics. 💪 Senate Minority Leader Doug Beck and House Minority Leader Ashley Aune came prepared, stayed focused, and brought the kind of leadership Missouri families deserve-real answers and people over politics. ✅

🗳️💙 Year two without representation isn’t acceptable.
As Missouri’s legislative session begins, Mehlville & Oakville deserve a real voice in Jefferson City — and I’m running to bring it back. If you’re able, please chip in (even $10 helps) and help us build momentum for 2026. www.sumenekformo.com

💸🪑 Taxes paid in full. Empty seat.
That’s not democracy - that’s neglect.
As this legislative session begins, I’ll keep showing up for our community, just as I did in 2025 — in Mehlville, Oakville, and Jefferson City.
Follow along. Support our campaign.
Let’s restore representation in the 95th. 💙

An unarmed woman was shot and killed by ICE today in Minneapolis. Her partner and dog were in the vehicle and were not physically harmed.

This must be independently investigated, with full transparency.

I’ve linked reporting from the BBC in the comments with the
verified details available so far.
