Penpot Desktop now lets you open a file’s view mode in a new window and can auto-reload the view when the @penpot.app file changes.
They are available as independent options and off by default, so make sure to check out the settings after the update to 0.21.0.

I brought something up at work on a Teams call about how I switch things around regularly. The example I mentioned was hardware and software. Like how I flip flop my entire personal workflow. Like one weekend I might change my entire OS from MacOS to a Linux distribution. I’m not alone right? Right?

After the latest Config, who the fuck is Figma even for anymore? They’ve built a locked-in site builder + CMS, launched AI-powered ‘Make Designs’—now undermining the very designers and devs who made them successful. Alienating your core users is a wild strategy.

Some really exciting stuff happening in the coding world. The #AI and #MCP landscape is amazing and now looking into #LynxJS and the prospect of using #VueJS to create mobile apps is super exciting.

I don’t understand some apps that charge a subscription. I get it if it’s a service that requires constant cost (like MMO’s). But just a basic Mac/Windows app that gets updated like once every 8 months or just when the OS gets updated. No. Just no. Behave yourselves.
